Slow N’ Steady

It’s a been quite a while since I’ve made a post, I thought I’d just give every one an update :). Things are slow right now but steady which is not a bad thing, I have a confirmed 30 people so far with just under 4 weeks to go. The other day I picked up some more materials for the center pieces, it’s coming together. I’ve also decided instead of charging the cost of the centre pieces, people make a donation for them that way there is no real obligation on price; I want every one to have a great night and have awareness raised.

The other day I had a radio interview on AM800 for the dinner which I was really excited for… but when I listened over it afterwards I was a little disappointed on how I explained everything; not everything can be perfect right!

In more recent news, unfortunately Shortcut to Last will be unable to perform at the dinner but I have some good leads on a second half performance not need to worry I’m on top of it! And fear not the Elvis tribute band is still on the agenda.

I’ve written out some donation request letters to bring out to stores to see if maybe we can get some raffle items, fingers crossed on getting some great stuff; I want to have a large selection for everyone to choose out of.

So that was my quick update hope is wasn’t too short for you :).

Since this one was short post here’s two quotes.

No one knows what he can do until he tries.
~Publilius Syrus

The closer you attempt to be perfect the more imperfections you’ll find; just do the best that you can and enjoy what you do.
